Savannah is home to many excellent Mexican restaurants, and you could easily dine at a different one every day for a month. But, Jalapeños is my top choice. The food is delicious, and the service is consistently great. Their complimentary chips and salsa are fresh and made in-house. I usually order the Guadalajara cheesesteak, which is simple yet full of flavor. What I appreciate most is their consistency--there's never any doubt about whether the meal will be good.
Visiting and stopped to get chicken soup after another Mexican restaurant nearby was all out, and OMG!! So glad the other place was out because this has to be the BEST chicken soup I've ever had! Service was great also! Will definitely make sure I go again when I'm in the area in the future.

We came here for lunch and I am so glad we did! We were greeted when we walked in and seated quickly in a booth. Our waiter was kind and attentive. I liked the salsa that came with the chips! I ordered the Mexi-chicken bowl and it was so flavorful and delicious! I would definitely order that again! I definitely want to come back and try more dishes as well!
Pooler stop half way home. Easy to get to. The sound system was a bit loud for me but otherwise nice restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. My speedy gonzales; taco and enchilada with beans was very good the salsa was also good.
Jalepeños in Pooler, GA is a Mexican restaurant with CRAZY FAST SERVICE, large variety of menu options, and good portion food at a very affordable price point! Immediately after I was seated, we were brought chips and salsa. After we ordered, maybe 5 min later... the food came out! My husband and I visited at a later time, which is probably why everything was so fast! But the level of attentiveness blew me away! The thing that also appreciate is how reasonably priced and affordable the food is! Idk if it's bcs where I currently live (Emerald Coast in FL) just sells crazy overpriced food, but this spot hits and is affordable! I tried their ceviche and it was delicious! Overall, Very large portions, super duper attentive and fast, and delicious! We will definitely be returning!
